Visiting one of the most popular parks in Toronto and then heading for ice cream afterwards!

In this fun family session, we went on a fun leisurely stroll through one of the largest and most popular parks in Toronto: Ramsden Park. It’s always a busy and beautiful place in the summer with its tennis and basketball courts, dog park, and ample grassy spots for picnics.

It’s a bustling space so I don’t tend to use this spot for sessions because there can be a lot of background distractions and people walking by. However, this family lives a short stroll away so we made it work!

Just around the corner from the park are a stretch of cafes, restaurants, and markets, one of which we visited after our session together for some delicious ice cream! At the time of this session, Coco Market hosted the popup spot for Bar32, an artisanal ice cream business started by two sisters who grew up in Rosedale, Toronto. These kids took FULL advantage of the offer to have ice cream and gobbled up their sweet treats in record time!
