Remember this little lady? She had the BEST baby hair. Just look at that profile.
She came back to see me after her little sister was born (her hair MUCH longer now!), had a few brief moments with everyone, and then decided she was done cooperating (see middle picture)! Gosh, I love these natural and funny moments when they happen at the studio, and they almost always happen when we have children under 5 visiting!
My tip for families with young children coming for a family photoshoot:
1) Have them arrive dressed in their outfit (or before I arrive at the location)
2) Prep them in advance by telling them they’re having a play date with Jessica, and that I have toys and bubbles for them
3) We will do the family and sibling photos within the first 30 minutes, so you can plan for them to leave/go to school/go to the park with another family member if possible
4) Bring snacks and drinks for them, and maybe a favourite stuffy or book
5) Bribery always helps 😉
