It had been a cold several days in October and we all came to the session dressed in sweaters, boots, and lots of layers. Blankets were on hand to wrap up baby (and whoever else was feeling chilled) and we even changed the location that week to one that was a bit more insulated from wind.
But in the end, all of that wasn’t needed.
As soon as we started, the sun came out and literally parted the clouds. Five minutes in and I had so say “It’s getting too sunny, we need to find a shadier spot!” Another five or so minutes later and off came my jacket (and I wish I could have taken off my heavy boots!) It suddenly became a glorious, summer-like day. We were all pleasantly surprised and couldn’t stop commenting on our luck.
