November was a complete whirlwind for me! If you know me at all, you know that I absolutely LOVE Christmas. It’s my favourite time of year. I start playing holiday music the day after Halloween and if I could get a real tree up (and have it last through to January) I would do that in November, too!
I want to say thank you to all the families who came to see me for their holiday portraits this year and for trusting that the set and pictures would look fabulous. It was a bit of a different look for me this year – a bit moodier, darker, and more rich tones. Totally fabulous. And all the fancy clothing and footwear that came through my studio – oh my!
I already have ideas for next year’s setup. Seriously, if I had a gigantic studio, the things I’d be able to do….hahahaha. Speaking of gigantic, some of the families who’ve been coming to see me every year are just getting bigger and bigger. I mean, four kids? Five kids? Clearly BIG FAMILIES are where it’s at right now and like I told many of you, I may need to RENT a place next year to fit you all! (seriously, if anyone has contacts and can score me a place in my neighbourhood (or anywhere around North Toronto, get in touch!)
Well, it’s back to normal for December – I have some newborns and cake smashes, and then it’s vacation time for the family and I. Time for some relaxing, skiing (YASSSS, I can’t wait), and wine-drinking.
Here are a few highlights from this year’s sessions – it was hard to find pictures that don’t spoil holiday cards (because all the best ones are on them!) but I did my best…you’ll see me and my little guy hiding in the video somewhere 🙂
