When planning a birthday session with a cake smash, it can be very nice to have an older sibling participate and help out. In this Toronto cake smash session, big sister was very enthusiastic about helping her little sister pose for the camera, try some birthday cake, and give us some big belly laughs. It was nice for mom and dad to get some images of the siblings together beforehand as well.
For the birthday set, mom wanted something soft and neutral but with some girly colours. I’ve been doing a lot of simple and neutral sets lately so it was nice to dust off the paint brushes and create this unique backdrop for them. Along with the beautiful ombre cupcake it all came together simply and beautifully!
